Today, the Simple Plan Foundation celebrated its comeback with a moving press conference at the Hotel W Montréal, marking its first official donation since the end of the pandemic. On this occasion, the band members proudly announced the 2024 donation recipients from their Foundation, celebrating the remarkable and inspiring contributions of 28 organizations from mostly Quebec, as well as Canada and around the world.
This year, the programs selected focused on the importance of mental health and suicide prevention, access to care and support for seriously ill youth, promoting respect and diversity, and helping young people find purpose and direction in life through the arts and music.
Since 2005, the Simple Plan Foundation has donated close to $3 million to non-profit organizations that reflect the values of the group's members.

“For over 20 years, the Simple Plan Foundation has been an integral part of the group, and has given us the opportunity to meet many inspiring individuals,” says Simple Plan. “Being involved and giving back to organizations that help people in difficult situations makes us extremely proud. Our goal is to continue this annual commitment and pursue our collaboration with extraordinary organizations that work tirelessly to help young people,” say the group members.
Simple Plan would like to sincerely thank its fans and the Foundation volunteers who make this concrete commitment to young people possible. Today's event marks an important milestone for the Foundation, which is already preparing ambitious projects for 2025 and beyond.
